Originally from Nottingham, Emily qualified from Newcastle University in 2014, with a Merit in Clinical Dentistry. She has worked in a variety of Dental Practices since then, including Nottingham, Lincolnshire & East Riding. Emily enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but she is looking towards a more surgical role, with her interests in extractions & implants.
Emily completed her postgraduate training in Implant placement at Tipton Training in Manchester, and is able to help patients fill gaps in their smiles using the Astra EV implant system. She has also undertaken training in the use of our CBCT machine and how to interpret the resulting images, allowing more accurate treatment planning of implant cases.
When she is not busy in the Practice, Emily is found walking in the Peak district with her partner, Oliver, and looking after their two cats, Otis and Pedro.
Emily’s clinical days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Dr Oliver Godfrey

Oliver trained at the University of Sheffield, qualifying in 2014. Further studies include post graduate certificates in restorative dentistry as well as dental law & ethics. Oliver was recently working as a dento-legal adviser with a dental indemnity provider, before moving to focus entirely on the Practice.
Oliver provides clear aligners for adult orthodontics, having worked alongside an orthodontic specialist in Sheffield & Lincolnshire.
Alongside walking with his partner, Emily, he enjoys culinary experiences in the Peak District & is looking forward to exploring “this side” of the Peaks

Dr Katherine Bromhall

Katherine grew up in Edinburgh and qualified from the University of Manchester in 2007. Since then she has worked in Manchester, New Zealand, Salford and Stockport before joining Lightwood in 2023.
Katherine really enjoys the varied day-to-day life of general dental practice. To be able to provide the best dental care for her patients, she likes to regularly attend courses and undertake further training. Katherine is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and has achieved a postgraduate diploma in restorative dentistry from the University of Chester. She also has a qualification in clinical teaching which she has used to supervise and mentor several newly qualified dentists to help support them at the start of their careers.
Outside of dentistry, Katherine enjoys playing and watching sport, eating great food and spending time with her two young children.
