2026 Summer Offer for Under 18s:

1. New patient under 18 examination for only £15 (normally £43) – Includes a full examination, fluoride application and preventative advice.
2. Registered Pay As You Go Under 18 Patients are able to book a Free Oral Health Education appointment with our Oral Health Nurse (Normally £27).
3. Registered Under 18 Patients who are on our dental plan are able to purchase an Oral B electric toothbrush at trade prices. Please call reception for up to date prices and to place an order.
The summer offer starts on 24th July 2026 and ends 3rd September 2026.
The summer offer applies to children under the age of 18.
Only one offer can be redeemed per child during the offer period.
Further fees will apply for dental X-rays and treatments that may be recommended. A treatment estimate with further costs will be provided where necessary.
There are limited spots available for examinations and Oral Health Education appointments – appointments are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
If you book an examination or an Oral Health Education appointment in this period, then cancel and rebook for a date outside of the offer date, our normal prices will apply. Also please see our cancellation policy (fees may apply for cancellations with less than 48 hours notice).

Complimentary Appointment With Our Treatment Co-Ordinator

Before you visit one of our dentists for a New Patient Consultation, you may wish to have a complimentary appointment with our Treatment Co-Ordinator.

New patients find an initial appointment to visit the practice beneficial, as you can discuss with our Treatment Co-Ordinator your previous dental history, any aims you have for your care with us, as well as treatment options and estimated costs, all before your New Patient Consultation. We can also share our Practice ethos for patient-centred, prevention-based dental care.

Kindly note, this is not a clinical appointment & no examination nor diagnosis are provided. Whilst our Treatment Co-Ordinator can provide general options, you will need a New Patient Consultation with a dentist in order to create a treatment plan tailored to you.

New Patient Consultation

At Lightwood Dental Care, we provide a 45-minute appointment for our New Patient Consultations, involving;

  • Thorough examination of the teeth, gums, jaw and soft tissue
  • Oral cancer screening
  • Intraoral scanning with our state-of-the-art Primescan, generating an interactive 3D digital model of your mouth & teeth
  • X-Rays to screen for decay & monitor bone levels
  • Discussion of treatment options & complimentary treatment estimates
